North Hat

In a partnership between Askov Finlayson X Juxtaposition Arts, a limited hat collection was designed, with 100% of the proceeds from these hats contributing to the Restore North campaign to support North Minneapolis small businesses that were impacted by COVID-19 and unrest in the area. (2020)

This concept is made up of the the term Northside being broken up into a knitted pattern. The cuts in the pattern are reminiscent of graffiti stencils and symbolize all of the different communities and people which make up not only the Northside but the North as a whole.
